vacation... sooo close :)

Hello guys! How is it going?
I'm sure that each of you has some plans for holiday. It is good to know some practical tips to save money on vacation. According to reports, airfare in June and August are slightly cheaper than in July. It is also good to avoid weekend travel, and then you can save about 10 per cent! What is more, book a hotel online in advance. However, if you like risk, it is good to think about the option last minute. You can save a lot of money, but on the other hand you have to deal with anxiety. I'm a big fan of spending this time in an active way! This year, I'm going to the mountains and I'm so excited... :) However, now I must deal with my exams... unfortunately.

stress - how about it?

Hi guys! How are you today?
I would like to focus a little bit on stress. First of all stress is a feeling we have when we react to situations that don't make us feel very good. Such situations can happen at university, at your place work or just in your private life. Stress can be short-term (like happening something immediately) and also long-term (like having private problems with your loved ones). It happens when you work too much and you don't have enough time to relax. However, the moderete level of stress can be good, while too much is dangerous. There are a lot of signs of the long-term stress, for example: panic attacks, the feeling od constant pressure, headaches, sleeping problems and even depression. So, how to keep stress under control? Managing stress is not an easy thing to do. There are some usefull tricks. First of all concentrate on the most important things. Be realistic! It means that you shouldn't try to be perfect. Get enough sleep, because it helps your body relax. What is more, treat your body well - get exercises, go for a walk or just run! You should care about your diet - the healthy dishs and enough vitamins. The last one is positive thinking... just try :)

running the marathon

Hello again! How are you?
Today I would like to put attention to running. Nowadays it is a very popular sport. I think that a lot of people run because they just enjoy it or want to be in a good physical shape. The biggest advantage is that running helps you to control your weight, because it burns up a lot of calories. In addition it helps you fight off stress after a tiring day. The majority runners take part in long distance races. The most popular events are marathons. However, people, who are eager to start, must be well-prepared and train a lot. They must also care about their diet. The right food is very important to avoid tiredness. In my opinion, running the marathon is quite a good idea. I like running, but I do this only for pleasure. I like the feeling after the activity, when I’m so tired and I feel every single muscle. However, now I have not enough time to focus on it one hundred percent. I'm dreaming about the first place and I hope it will come true... one day :)

study abroad

Hello guys! How is it going?
Today's topic is study abroad. Every year thousands of students leave the country to gain knowlegde far, far away from their homes. They think that the level of education is higher and so on. On the other hand, they just want to visit the other side of world and experience new things. I was also thinking about studying abroad. However, now when I have two faculties on my hand, it's not so easy to undertake the decision like that and just throw everything. Living and studying in another country have a lof of advantages but also disadvantages. The majority of immigrants think that the foreign land makes them native speakers in one day. It's obvious, that it's not true. Someone, who want to become a great speaker, must pay attention to learn every single day. On the other hand, learninig become faster, because foreign language is everywhere. I'm not pretty sure, if I could deal with loneliness. However, it's a great opportunity to make new friends. In addition, the cultural shock can occur and some other problems may take place. But it's a great possibility to mature and take all the responsibilities on one's own. What is more, there is no doubt that it takes a lot of money, but... nothing is impossible! To sum up, studying abroad is a reaaly good idea, which can change whole life. It can be a wonderful experience. If you don't have a possibity to studying abrod... maybe it's high time to think about living and working there? :)

time for coffee?

Hello, how are you?
Today, I'm going to write you a little bit about coffee. Majority start the day with a few cups of coffee, while I definitely prefer a mag of tea :) However, that might not be such a bad thing. According to scientifics, frequent coffee drinkers, who drink two or three cups of regular coffe per day, have a 45 percent lower risk of suicide, while the ones, who drink four or more cups of coffee per day, have a 53 percent lover risk than people who don't drink it at all (for example me). The question is why. So coffee has a high percentage of caffeine and it has an anti-depressive quality, because of that we could avoid depression. However, the thing is, too much caffeine isn't necessarily better.

Are you agree? :)

keep calm and run on!

Hello guys! How are you?
Today I would like to write a little bit about running itself. As I mentioned in the previous posts, I love it! Some of us think that running is really simple, but in fact - it isn't. A lot of people make the major running mistakes. First of all - trying to run too many kilometres too soon! We want to be the best at the beginning, but it's impossible. We should take a little steps to achieve our goal. Secondly - making every run a fast run! It's quite common for beginnes to run as fast as possible. Hovewer, if you do it at top speed every time, you're going to get too tired too quickly. It means that you probably don't want to run the next day. Thirdly - getting into a rut a couple of weeks in! If you keep running that same distance at the same pace for too long, you get bored very soon.

happy time!

Hi guys! What's up? I'm so happy about Easter, because I can spend this free time with my family in my hometown. We are traditionalist, so we follow all the customs connected with Easter. I really love spending time in the kitchen, so that's why I cook some cakes every year. What is more, I just love eating, so this time is perfect for me. In my opinion, the traditional Polish cuisine is the best - yummie! Below I attach a picture of my Easter cake and now I'm coming to my loved ones :)

More confident?

Hello everyone, how are you today? I would like to share with you my thoughts about confidence. Some time ago, I'd read a quite interesting article about it. From my point of view, only the minority of people show their confidence in everyday life. I must admit that I'm not a confident person at all. However, to improve our confidence we should answer several questions like:
- what do you want to be more confident at?
- when do you want to feel more confident?
- with who do you want to be more confident?
- why do you even to be more confident?
Answering these questions, helps us to find our confidence and focus on our specific goals. The more clear you are, the better results you get. I with you good luck!

Take care! :)

Healthy living? why not!

Hi, what's up today? I have a lot of positive energy from the beginning of the day! However, today I would like to focus on a healthy living a little bit. As you probably know, I'm quite interested in it. I like feeling good. I'm trying to eat better than before. It's not en easy piece of cake for me. I've always had  a problem with the proper diet. To be honest, I just love food, especially sweets (yummie!). However, I have to keep an eye on it to be in a good mood every day. What's more, I'm trying to do regular exercises to keep me fit. I love running, as probably I mentioned before. Unfortunately, I had some problems with my leg some time ago and I was forced to stop running at all. Fortunately, I can come back to my love now and I do it. In addition, I like spending time at the gym, especially in my hometown. When I care about my diet and regular exercises, my attitude to life changes in one moment. The positive thinking is the key to success. As you can see below, there are some links between these things. As a result, we get a healthy life - ENJOY IT!

Take care! :)

Water?

Hi everyone, what's up? It's sunday - just like a nightmare. I really don't like sundays and the reasons are simple and very-known. However, the purpose of this note isn't to complain (as a typical Pole). As I mentioned before, in the previous note, I'm on a diet and I'm interested in it. Today, I would like to present you the benefits of drinking water. Why it's so important for our health? Water helps to lose weight. I think that the majority of women want to lose some kilograms, so it's good to know that water can help us a liitle bit. What's also important, the skin condition is getting better. Water can help with fighting infections and also getting rid of body toxins. In exchange for drinking water, we get a helathy heart. In addition, it prevents joint pains, arthritis and constipations. Reffering to health, water reduces risk of cancer. Finally, we're more productive and have a lot of energy. What's the conclusion? I think that drinking water has only the advantages. I higly recommend water as a basic of our diet. I couldn't imagine the day without it, this is my small addiction. According to scientists, the adult should drink about 2 litres water per day - I suppose I drink too much! :)

Laziness...

Hiya, how are you today? I'm ok, but I feel a little bit tired. I finished my classes really early in comparison to other days. I really like Wednesdays, cause the whole afternoon is mine. I can feel free and do whatever I want to. To be honest, I don't think that I'm a lazy type of person. However, if I have some free time, I take advantage of it as much as I can! I spent my afternoon in an active way. However, I want to focus on my diner, which I prepared by myself (with a little help my friend). I really didn't have any idea, but my friend loves chicken in any form, so we decided on it. It was my first time when I has been preparing steamed chicken. In general, steaming may not be the first thing that springs to mind when deciding how to cook chicken, but I'm on an endless diet, so dishes like that are perfect for me. I used a lot of spices, such as curry, pepper, basil and other green stuff. I was really surprised, because I expected something as dry as bone. In fact, it was really delicious! That's why I ate too much, but I didn't have enough strength to burn an additional calories. I will do it tomorrow :)

Yep! That's enough for today.
Take care!

My version: I love being lazy & doing everything that makes me happy :)

Let's start!

It's perfect time to say hello! At the beginning, I would like to explain the main topics of this blog. So, I don't want to focus on some particular one, but I will be trying to choose these onces, which are interesting for me. I'm especially interested in photography and healthy lifestyle - dietetics, cooking and sport in general. In addition, I love travelling and getting to know other countries, cultures and their habits. Probably I will share with you some of my pics in the next posts. I think it's enough for the beginning.

Take care!
